You just missed it. Look into crossgrades from other Steinberg products such as Wavelab, Nuendo etc.

It's been a while, but some bought Spectral Layers from Magix in some sales--and they were able to register with Steinberg (maybe even from a previous version to a newer one). Maybe those kind of deals won't happen again (Magix still have licensing?), but maybe do some searching, as I don't recall the last time a deal like that came up.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

i was to slow on the above deal. Found a new one.
Q:
(me thinks that the guy who sells bought it as a crossgrade)
Is there any risk involved for me vs. the license transfer ?
is SpectraLayers bought 2nd hand as good a license as any new one ?
means, i can resell it as if i was the first owner, etc. ?
( plays no role in case it was a crossgrade purchase from that owner ? )
anybody in the knows ?
( thought i ask first, since i just stumbled recently somewhere over some restrictive terms vs. resales )

A few months later I'm wondering the same thing as above i.e. is there a way to get Spectralayers Pro 11 cheaper than the current 40% sale?
As a cubase pro owner, I regret not going for the anniversary crossgrade offer but didn't really have a use case back then. I'd go for elements at the current price but afaict there are only a few added features from go 11 (mainly the extra restoration modules).
Also there seems to be a voucher available to upgrade from go to pro but again that seems to be the same price as the current offer i.e. $179.99. And I only saw this mentioned on avid forums, so I'm not sure if it applies to cubase and it seems to be valid till December 12th.

Not what you asked for but ...
Samplitude Pro 8 includes Spectralayers pro 11
And check if Samplitude Pro 9 will be free to you when it is released in early 2025.

Edit: Thanks Shabdahbriah for the correction below.
Yes, should read "Samplitude Pro 8 Suite"

Thanks for the suggestion .. samplitude suite sounds like a good deal but costs more than just buying SL11 Pro atm, and I don't really need the extra stuff.
However there is a deal on Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab 4 which appears to include SL10 elements and RX10 elements. If those are the full elements versions then that is certainly one way to go, and also opens up an upgrade path to SL Pro for later (though I'm not sure with the elicenser thing). If anyone knows about this please confirm, thanks.

Yes ^^^ particularly if you don't need the features of the full versions (or for the "upgrade path"), that is a great deal.

Yea I'm most likely going for this. I just hope the included version is indeed elements and not Spectralayers go/one.

Just purchased the update from Spectralayers 10 Pro to 11 Pro. It's an amazing tool for me! And for 50 USD it a sweet!
