Peter just a heads up, on page 16 of the manual it makes reference to when you drop in a stereo sample it splits it between two irises, but there is only one Iris
I am loving the plugin however.

Thank you for reporting! It should be fixed already in the version of the manual that was shipping with the 1.01 installer.IvyBirds wrote: Thu Nov 21, 2024 8:13 pm Peter just a heads up, on page 16 of the manual it makes reference to when you drop in a stereo sample it splits it between two irises, but there is only one Iris

Just when I thought I escaped Black Friday on the cheap...
What a cool idea for a synth
I bought direct because this is one where I wanted to fully support the developer.

Does Myth use multi threading?
Getting overloads in audio, however the system manager is showing it well under 30% for CPU and less than 22% RAM. (Add 12-20% for CPU if in DAW. tops around 48% then.)

No, it does not. Each instance runs on a single core.BBFG# wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2024 2:26 am Does Myth use multi threading?

There is a setting to limit the polyphony - either for the preset your are using if you see this only occasional, of for your system. In the manual there is a page about tips & tricks for CPU.

not able to access my computer atm, so looking for opinions of myth users who are working on an apple m1 cpu... how is the performance for you?
im thinking about getting it as a sound design instrument whichs outcome i bounce to audio to edit further. not planning to use multiple instances too much...

Just one instance of MYTH, live improv with Macro/modwheel action. MYTH really excels at resynthesizing these delicate string and vocal textures, the amount of detail is quite amazing imo and the possibilities to warp the sound around often just works when applied carefully.

I am trying Myth trial, and it is interesting synth. Can Myth do Filter with noise resonance? Like in IL Harmor, what produce lot of noise when Resonance is low and less noise when Resonance is hi. I don't know how to describe it, but it can be imagined as noise effect in image, and if you rise up resonance, there is still noise, but the distance between dark and light pixels are more distant and then noise is less dense, but size of the dots are remaining. Or Phaser which can work with harmonics. With that possibility Harmor can create very interesting and "bubbling" sound (with noise resonance). Can Myth accomplish that too?
I just asking because there is somwhere discussion about additve / resynthesizer synths and Myth was mentioned. Also I am looking for replacement for IL Harmor and Myth looks for first look good but that spectral "shaping" is missing in Myth for me, or I overlook something.

I'd like to focus on creating great plugins ... instead of spending my time, brain and energy on marketing etctwal wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2024 5:28 pm I was wondering why Dawesome works in conjunction with Tracktion- good guys over there???
So I need a partner who does the distribution, sales and tax side of this, and for this tracktion is the perfect partner. They have a dedicated program "Tracktion presents" for indie devs like me.
