Desktop app for text to ai speech?

Is anyone aware of a desktop app that does text to ai voice? Not interesting in singing, just basic speech.

I haven't found any. Most are online.

Anyone aware of a good free one if there is NO desktop version?

It'd be nice is some genious on kvr can make something like this!!

Not strictly 'desktop' apps, but all local. There are plenty out there, if you're willing to roll your sleeves up a bit.

Haven't found any desktop app but a ton of ones you have to pay for credits and limited text, yada yada. I just want to test stuff out for now. If I get serious about maybe videos I might be willing to pay something.

Checked them all, all not free, too limited, or sound kinda robot like. There are good ones out there no doubt, but there are hoops to even test, costs, etc.
