I shouldn’t have tried the demo again. I couldn’t resist getting it,it’s awesome. Hopefully I don’t regret it in the future.

But you are right, I would choose peanut butter and jelly over both. I'm actually kind of a sweet tooth
And, I sometimes eat peanut butter right from the jar

Anyone else getting a crash on a clean installation of 1.8.9 in FL Studio 24? When activating, after importing the license file, it just does an endless loop of popups saying the activation was successful? Then crashes FL Studio? After re-opening FL Studio, the sound doesn't play in Rapid. 1.8.8 does not have this problem.

Might be the x86 VST2 version that was removed. VST2 is still supported and installed during setup. The prompt to choose your VST Directory is for the VST2 version whereas VST3 always installs to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Parawave.Teksonik wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 4:19 pm As a heads up this update does appear to remove the VST2 version from your system or at least it did on this system, haven't tried in on the studio system yet.

Ok I ran the installer again and it wanted to install the VST 2 in Program Files\Common Files\VST2 instead of my custom location on the D: drive which is where the previous version of Rapid was installed. It did uninstall the older files from that previous location the first time I ran the installer.
I just assumed that the installer would automatically use the last known location or read the Windows registry entry for my default VST location as so many installers do so I just clicked through.
So apologies it was my fault. The VST 2 is now installed in the preferred location.

I don‘t know if someone mentioned before… Mirko Ruta had this „beast update“ Video 7 month ago, but he ask for calm down because of the release date. It’s definitiv MINDBLOWING what we can do when this update will come out. Kind of generative music Never get boring over time. Like Brian Eno at his best. I don’t think there’s another Synth Plugin out there which will do such fantastic moving soundshapes over a long time. Mirko Ruta’s Video is a killer. Check this here:

By the way… here are a good news too: Tim Exile is back and his new plugin „scapeshift“ is a big game changer if you are into generative music envolving over time like me. I found this great news on gearnews some hours ago!

The only reason I can think of is that development has stopped is maybe its being sold (a la Camel Audio) or maybe its just run out of money for further development...it was in the hands if a sounds developer at the point vit was put on hold so seems odd...but there has been development, new features and some people have had a beta!
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!
