well who knows, maybe also personal stuff happened or something, business etc. long holidays, whatever. we dont know.

everyone at this point should of course decide whether to have hopes, still buys their stuff and so on. with a company acting so strange and only showing signs around black friday... and even locking up a kvr topic :D.

yeah they dont have to communicate with their customers and give us infos, cause we are just the customers and nothing more :D

padon me holy parawave that people are worried with their purchased products which are NFR when bought and are worried if the servers will run in future and dont get replies on support mails (sometimes?) it seems.

for me, love the synth and am cautious using it + i dont trust the company anymore. but a small pic and post seems to make people happy again around BF sales :D

I have a different theory... that sound designer is also a developer... maybe they got more lucrative guaranteed compensation from say Refx to work on Nexus 5 and therefore put this on hold?
I am clearly just speculating.

I'll take Peanut Butter and Jelly over Lutfisk any day of the week. Not sure what's going on with you Swedish people.
Don't forget surströmming  But you are right, I would choose peanut butter and jelly over both. I'm actually kind of a sweet tooth :D And, I sometimes eat peanut butter right from the jar
PB from the jar on banana = breakfast.
Never tried that, but it actually sounds really nice! :)

Yeah, me too. I really don't want the headache of not being able to authorise something in the future... I come back to old projects constantly.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

They don't stand out, almost vanilla like, but blend exceptionally well in tracks with other instruments...rsp
Layer Rapid with DUNE 3. They go together like peanut butter and jelly. Layering Rapid with Avenger creates a rip in the space time continuum and yields some truly mind blowing sounds. :hihi:

OK I'll bite...why is it disgusting? And exactly what "jelly" are you talking about as it's not like there is one flavor?

If you're a diabetic with a peanut allergy then it's in your best interest to think of it that way. Some just put it in a class of what you feed toddlers or those with similar childish tastes.
It's often used in the States as a metaphor of immaturity.

A very solid synth! And a bug in the recently released version 1.8.09 on Windows has been fixed in version 1.8.10.

why are there no Sylenth threads constantly asking for more stuff. This synth already does way more than that synth which hasn't had any new features since forever.

I buy a synth for the things it can do at the time, not what it might become in 5 years!

Hi, my question may sound strange, but it's worth a try.
I'm trying the demo and it's strange, but Rapid is the first synth whose interface doesn't cause eye strain for me. Usually, it's a huge problem for me. My eyes get tired quickly when working with software. It's probably a manifestation of dry eye syndrome. But it also depends on the software. Some plugins make my eyes get tired and feeling bad very quickly. Some are a little better.

But in the case of Rapid, it's the first time my eyes feels so comfortable. It's very unexpected.
It's definitely not about the colors. I have other synths with a dark GUI, but none of them are as comfortable for the eyes as Rapid.

I'm sure there is some technical reason. The graphics engine used, or whatever it's called in the case of a plugin. Or something else. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be?

Also, maybe someone else also finds Rapid's GUI the most comfortable for the eyes? In that case, can you recommend other plugins with a similar effect for the eyes (I think this only makes sense if you also experience some problems with the interface of some plugins).

Could be the colors or the layout, probably both, having only one modulator on screen at once is probably helpful in that regard. Have you tried changing the theme to see if it still is as easy on the eyes. I just checked it out and some are definitely not to me.

thanks for mentioning skins. it might actually help a bit to find the right direction.
also i noticed that rapid has opengl enabled by default. maybe that has some meaning too. although current also has opengl enabled but my eyes quickly start to hurt when using it.

You can download my custom skins for Rapid here for free.

It's a fun effect which brings it to life for sure, but you have the plane jane option too. This track is just one instance of Rapid only.

One question I've not asked before. If you have bought a license to run on one computer, can you use the same license to install it on another computer, rather than buying another license to do that?

Ok, I've found the answer for that.
Can I install Rapid on more than one computer?
Yes, you are allowed to install and activate our products on all your personally owned devices.
