Quitting from FL-Studio - Seeking for advice for plugins

Hello everyone.
I was a FL Studio user, now moving to other DAWs where VSTs are not included.
I'm a little disoriented by the load of free VSTs one can find on the web, and I really have no clue what to download in order to make the "right" decision.
Now, given I'm used to FL Studio, here are the plugin I was using with it:
Effects:
- Parametric EQ
- Overdrive
- Chorus
- Multiband Compressor
- Delay
- Fast Dist
- Free Filter
- Flanger
- Phase Inverter
- Phaser
- Reverb
- Vocoder
- WaveShaper
And instruments:
- Sampler
- DrumSynth
- Kick Synth (In truth this is whatever synth good to make a Kick sound, but a specialized tool would fit in)
- Slicer
- Text To Speech
So please, can anyone give me some advice on at least some of the listed plugins?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards, have a nice day.
Kindly, Ivano.

Eheh, unfortunately is not so simple.
Most of FL Studio plugins are not available as standalone, and the ones that used to be, aren't anymore.
I'd like so much to do as you suggest, but I can't.

In case you don't know, you can load FL Studio as a VST in other hosts, so you can get access to all the native plugins that way.
That said, a lot of the stuff you've listed (not sure why you haven't listed the actual names of the plugins) can easily be replaced by "anything". For example, you've listed "Reverb". Fruity Reeverb 2 is a very basic algorithmic (digital) reverb that IMO sounds horribly dated and can be easily replaced by a better digital reverb like the free Oril River (or literally anything else that isn't 20 years old). Convolver is a convolution reverb, and unless you are heavily using the knobs in it, you'll get the exact same results with any other convolution reverb - of which there are absolutely loads. I've not used LuxeVerb, so can't comment on that, but my point is that almost everything you've listed is easily replaced by decent freeware. Most of the plugins you've listed (or more accurately, plugin categories) are covered by absolutely ancient plugins in FL Studio that were OK when they were introduced 20 years ago, but have long since been superseded by literally anything more recent.
The things you'd have trouble replacing would be some of the premium synths (e.g. Harmor is pretty much irreplacable). But you haven't listed any of the actually unique plugins in FL. I'd suggest a little bit of research (e.g. see the KVR database and various threads on KVR about good free plugins), try some of the top freebies out and then come back with a list of the 3-5 things (with the actual names of the plugins, not the types) you are unable to replace.

Voted KVR's resident drunk Robert Smith impersonator (thanks Frantz!)

Well, I tried searching various free VST directories for the categories listed above, but I got too much results, and I only used FL in my life, nothing else, so I don't know what to choose.
That's the area I need advice in.

Which DAW will you migrate to? Many of them have more than decent stock plugins.

a multi effect like devious machines infiltrator could cover almost all the fx-needs you mentioned. or guitar rig / the native instruments effect suite. (both very cheap to get on the 2nd hand market)

No, excuse me, I didn't check well enough: the plugins are present already.
Please excuse me, this is a false alarm. I just need the VSTi (the instruments)
Edit: Ok, now I checked the available plugins, I'm only missing these:
- OverDrive
- Filter (Low/High/Band-Pass/Shelf)
- Phase Inverter
- VoCoder
- WaveShaper
Please, can someone recommend a name for each? I really have no clue about which is best from the vast load of free VST I get in the sites, I'm looking for advice.
Thanks in advance for any help, regards, have a nice day.

For actually all except of VoCoder and Chorus (while the MDelay is surely capable of a decent chorus too) of the FLS plugins you listed you just need one package:eedeeota wrote: Thu Nov 28, 2024 1:53 pm No, excuse me, I didn't check well enough: the plugins are present already.

The Melda free bundle while there is a paid version for them too which is dead cheap: 19,-€ for 38 effects which replace all the named FLS FX perfectly and sometimes even better...
You could use the free version of course too but for the 19,-€ (on BF sale atm still for 3 days) you get some goodies which are very helpful.

There are soo many free and capable vocoders out there (i.e. TAL https://tal-software.com/products/tal-vocoder) ... and Chrous as well...no problem to replace the standard FLS one...
