That looks like a top job, good work guys! Did I hear Manuel say CPU usage had been improved? How is that possible, it barely tickled the CPU already?!
Hoping we can get some cinematic packs from all the talented sound designers out there.

this will be interesting e.g. using existing presets and changing the samples and oscs etc. wow nice. i still hope for a future random preset option which dices from existing presets the oscs, parameters etc. now it is not a rompler anymore but still this would be neat.

A few small questions after spending some time in the DAW with Nexus5, perhaps some of you here know something about it:
Samples - import works, but if you save user presets, e.g. in a custom folder, there are only the presets in there, not the imported samples - what is the best way to handle this if, for example, you want to share a preset collection with others - which uses your own samples?
If you start with an init, build your own patches and save them later, the author is still always "M.Schleis" (mouse hover over the preset name in the menu) - because he is the author of the init preset. Can't you edit that too? It would be strange if someone else was always listed as the author for your own presets.

Seeing the same price here - £38. This is with nothing in my cart, which may affect prices with multi-save.revvy wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2024 10:34 am Anyone else seeing different prices for Expansions when logged in versus not logged in? i.e. higher price when logged in?
EDIT: The latest couple of expansions are more expensive. Not sure I love that move by refx but whatever.

I just purchased Nexus 5 and four expansions.
Concerning the price of the update to Nexus 5 and the price of the expansions currently, really great, a very interesting price and really not expensive at all.
Congratulations, bravo for this new version of Nexus.
Simply grandiose, fabulous, a marvel.
Very good, excellent.
A big thank you to Manuel and his team, great art.
Delighted with this new version, simply excellence.

1. This is coming in an update. We will have a way to bundle presets and samples in a single archive for easy sharing.Cyforce wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2024 11:57 am Samples - import works, but if you save user presets, e.g. in a custom folder, there are only the presets in there, not the imported samples - what is the best way to handle this if, for example, you want to share a preset collection with others - which uses your own samples?

2. This sounds like a bug, it should you the name from your account. I'll get it fixed asap. Workaround: start from one of the preset templates

No Pro Tools project will reopen once a version of Nexus has been instantiated in it.

Also bought- looks very good- just had quick play and could do a lot without looking at the manual so fairly intuitive for the complexity (although I couldn't seem to modulate some of the synth pre-sets like fold, drag and drop worked as expected on the filter etc) have to hit the manual at some point!)
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Am i mental or does this not work with multi-midi channels for each layer within one instance? re: the sequence patches.
if not, no big deal. a lot of beautiful patches in this thing even w/o grabbing a bucketload of extras.
