Hi,
Has anyone encountered or encountering a problem with these 2 combinations, cubsae SX2 & Linplugs RMIV
everytime I load up 3 or 4 wave files from my samples folder into 1 midi track, communication with RMIV cuts out.
things like faders and numerical stuff goes blank....
Cubase does not like this... so it repeatingly shows me an message saying that it has encountered an error and will shut down.
Im running the demo version and I have loaded RMIV into the VST drums folder. hope sone one can help me out thanks! :help:

Windows 2000

Check how much RAM you are using with those samples. Most of the time i have found probs with Cubase is because it does not have enough memory to function.

The other thing is likely you are overloading your CPU.

Oh and change your operating system from 2000 to XP. You are asking for trouble. 2000 is not exactly the centre of attention for Music software developers.

Diabolic, I have experienced similar problems and I was using Win2K as well. I can't say for sure if that is the problem, but it might be.

Yeap Ive recently stumbled accross a few users with the same configuration and they too have experienced the same thing, Linplug should at least advise us if they prefer users to have XP and not just say compatible with Win 98 and onwards!!!
I was alomost certain that it was cubase SX at one satge.
well looks like windows XP here I come sighhhhhh....
