I'm using a combination of my editors and Strettttttccccching.

What else can I throw at these samples? What are you using?

Granular?

Yep, granular. Hint: granulize, then extreme stretch your samples 🙂

Adobe Audition is a powerhouse for detailed audio (wave) manipulation. But for setting/looping waves, I swear by the freeware Wavosaur. Ocenaudio is a nice, useful wave editor for linux, but not quite as good as the preceding two (unfortunately not for linux).

I'm thinking about upgrading to Baby Audio's Transit 2. The first version was fantastic. In addition, I'm checking out Sample Brain . . . and of course . . . anything you guys mention on this thread. ;-)

I just upgraded to Transit v2. Gotta love Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales!!!

The most recent release I could find was 2018. Is it still being developed? Working on newer systems?

I'm all for using odd-ball gear, but this is from 2012/32-bit. Is it still loading on newer systems?

I'm using it, with no issues, on Win10.

I'm on a Mac.

I love my Apple products, but I guess Win can’t be beat when it comes to backwards compatibility. Emissioncontrol should be fine though.

Unfortunately much of what i use is old and that includes Hour Glass, Absynth, Alchemy, Audition (i would avoid Adobe, mine is the old Audition 3 which i got as a Cool Edit user), Omnishpere, assorted Glitchmachines, Kontakt, and more obscure or inappropriate softwares.
