Hello everyone, could you tell me how to set up switching presets via midi to my midicontroller in nexus 5? (learn\mapping)

Where in nexus 5 can I find these settings? And does it even have a live mode?

Right click on the fwd / back mode in the title bar, select start learning, press the button on your midi controller

Yes, I found this option, but it does not suit me, since it is only a forward and backward action. I need to assign eight different presets to the eight buttons on the midi controller.

Dear reFX, could you add another working skin from the 4th version of Nexus here.
Since I am more used to the 4.5.4 version interface and it is more convenient for me to work with it. I will be very grateful.

And preferably in the layers section, make +/- so that you can increase it, it will be more convenient this way. The fonts of the button captions are too small to be clearly visible.

No one?
I haven't bought that package but to me this is clear that it is the 10 latests and that you can't choose what you want. They even list what you will get... NEXUS5 + 10 latest... afrobeats, edm9, edm 10 ....étchétérâaa ! ;)

When I want a new set of bass or leads for Techno for example, of course it makes perfect sense to bbe sold a completely random bunch of exps that can be any one of 20 genres! The important thing is that they are NEW, being what you actually want or can use is of no importance whatsoever.

In fact you can easily re-create the feeling of this deal by simply grabbing a bunch of your own money and then throwing it down the toilet.

What’s the price like with the current discounts if you grab Nexus 5 + 10 expansions of your choice? I think if you stack them theyll be even cheaper right.

Thank you reFX team. I upgraded from Nexus 2 to Nexus 5 this weekend and its so nice to have my old favorites back. the new interface is quick and responsive and simple to understand. I'm really enjoying the sampler and throwing things in Nexus 5 and playing around. the new included sounds are really cool and lend themselves to the EDM sounds that are popular now, really enjoying the new sound library. $79 upgrade was a steal and so worth the upgrade! Thank you so much for your effort, and time. can't stop smiling and gushing. so much fun!

Pretty sure the discount for the 10 pack is already discounted for the Black Friday sale, so Idoubt anything else will apply to that.

Here is the video I was working on. It's a bit long, but I'm really just exploring my way around Nexus. Less of a review and more of a exploratory video. Time stamps are in the description.

In it, I try to replace drums, create and save presets, and mess around a bit with the sample editor. Some of you guys will notice some issues that we've discussed here. Note that I'm visually impaired, so I'm using a magnifier.

Sorry for the clickbaity title and thumbnail. Gotta please the YouTube algorithm.

Hello, ViRiX Dreamcore! This is a super video! Thank you for the work you have done!

Perhaps you can help me? How can I assign a button of my midi commander (e.g. CC86) to switch a certain preset in the Nexus 5? I have eight buttons in midi commander, and I want to assign each of them its own preset to quickly switch them between each other.

Okay, opened up three tickets.

I recreated a previous bug I found earlier too, where the retro gui settings don't match the editor. Retro gui cutoff could be at zero but the editor could be at 100.

I can probably work around including samples in my first bank using WT and the synthesis in nexus. I can post some patches and include the wavetables here but I'm not sure if things will change. If I wanted to share presets, do I instruct people to move the samples in the user samples folder, even wavetables? Or, when the bank export feature is done, will those wavetables be nested inside a parent folder in the user samples folder, ie ...user samples/TTU Bank. Or, will 3rd party be banks be put elsewhere?

As it stands, not sure how to proceed in the endeavor of making a bank. I'm on a sound design sabbatical atm but came out to make a quick bank for one of my favorite synths, a special exception, but doesn't seem like its there yet.

One more things, are there any truly monophonic LFO's that never trigger back, even at the start of the bar? If not, I'll like to make an official feature request on github. This goes for LFO's or envelopes or anything I can use for this purpose.
