regarding Kaleidoscope like plug-in.

two years ago I developed a GPU engine (for the purpose of finding optimal trading strategies) that can be used as well
to make a kaleidoscope like real-time, midi playable, open, programmable synth that
runs entirely on GPU, including the GPUs found in ARM based Macs.
No huge picture libs though, fully procedural, real-time computing. low latency

I have to complete and release Reverside plug-in first though then I will get back to this synth.

and a new Reverside beta is coming soon

Does anyone know if Breeze 2 can be installed on an ARM based Mac?

I saw a few posts about people having it run using Rosetta, but I haven’t been able to install it on a new Mac. Getting Breeze in Rosetta would be great for older projects, or else I need to keep the Intel machine, vs buy a used Intel based mini.

@elxsound Hello, I use Breeze 2 on an Intel Mac (Sonoma) and on a M1 (Sequoia) either. I don't use Rosetta at all and so far everything works well with Logic, Reaper and Luna.

Don't know about Breeze, but I'm still using B2.

It does run but needs Rosetta

In fact they all run - even Kaleidoscope - but the older ones have preset sorting problems that were never resolved

But after the first run through, Rosetta works in the background right? I'm not opening Logic in Rosetta.

For AU plugins yes Rosetta runs as a process just for them without you needing to run Logic in Rosetta (unless you are trying to load a sub host like Komplete Kontrol that needs Rosetta to load VST2 plugins)

Do you remember if there any issues with the installer?

Maybe I’m missing a security setting.

Sorry I don't remember any problem.

This is what I keep getting when trying to install.

This is after going to Security and allowing the app (installer) to open.

try downloading with another browser if possible.
are you on mac?
i had to get a download extension on all my 2cAudio software (ie all titles) as i had the same error over and over, try a download manager perhaps? it's a problem with the download anyway, i'm 99% certain.

Thank you for that, and I'll keep trying.

No luck with Safari or Chrome so far, but I'll look for a download manager.

The current build of Reverside expired on 1st december 2024.
I made a new minor intermediate build that will expire on March 1, 2025.
If anyone uses Reverside in the work and needs a new build please email me.

changes in 0.9.0.212
• The effect of CROSS parameter was reset on changes to some other reverb parameters.
[Bug fixed] Thanks to Michael Seipel for catching the issue and detailed report.
• The frequency grid values no longer overlap when modifying frequency scale
with mouse wheel
• Improved manual in PDF format with images

I also made some basic web site:
https://devproaudio.com

I am working on a new major build that will support
improved UI, full UI localization, full control over colors, font sets, resizable UI in AU version, improved stability and much more. The new build is expected to be ready by xmas 2024.
