SD3 and TRIAZ

Slate drums seems pretty good, I've used the free version on some tracks and I think it's on sale for $49 right now.
I own a bunch of the AD2 kits and I'm really happy with the workflow and sound.
I wasn't happy with the Modo demo personally.
I've used Battery long ago but I don't really know the current version and I don't have real experience with any others in this arena.

Maybe not content wise, but i like atlas, and use it constantly.

MODO DRUM.

It’s the most flexible and dynamic, because it’s physically modeled. You can swap heads, beater, sticks, edge geometry, heel position, alter drum sizes and tuning, dampen the heads and loosen the snare wires, swap the room, mix and match any kit pieces. You can target any area of the drum head, and every hit is generated on the fly based on velocity, strike zone, and kinetic energy of the head. This results in near limitless variation, unlike samples and their limited velocity layers.

And there is a kit for every occasion. You’ll always find a kit that works with the song. They sound good and alive, not canned like samples. The Jazzy kit is really standout, particularly the toms. These kits really poke through a mix, while sampled drums seem to sound flat and gauzy and get lost in a wash.

Superior Drummer by a country mile. Compare something like the SD3 Jazz Sessions with e.g. AD2 Modern Jazz Sticks, it's not even close.

BFD3 honourable mention.

What kind of drums? For electronic stuff I love XLN XO. I just love that though I feel the sequencer is too limited sometimes.
If we are talking real drum sounds I love my superior drummer 3. Since I have that wonderful piece of software... I don't even bother to look at others real drum plugins... I just don't see why should I.

Triaz for me

What about MDrummer? Anyone that uses it that can say a thing or two about it's kits sound quality? Been looking at it for a while since it has a virtual drummer feature that other plugins dont seem to have.
Furnace, Renoise, Cubase, Reaper :tu:

For BF i bought Drum Computer, Speedrum2,
Oneshot, bloom drum machine, skaka...

I like drum machines...

MODO Drums is the best package out of the box, not taking expansions into account. Battery is actually #2 under this criteria.

If expansions are taken into account, the AD2 Dead & Dry Collection would be my personal pick.

GO!
Out of those, Battery 4 for electronic drums, SD for "real" drums would be my choices.

As for "best"... best for what? I wouldn't buy SD or AD2 for electronic drums, nor would I buy Battery 4 for rock or country drums. And, like other responses here, my "best" choices are not included in your list.
Logic Pro | LUNA Pro | OB-X8 | Prophet 6 | OB-6 | Rev2 | TEO-5 | Pro 3 | SE-1X | Minitaur | Deepmind 12D | Integra-7 | TR-1000 | Analog RYTM mk2 | Digitakt 2 | TD-3 MO | TD-3 | Maschine+

Ok, I almost got nothing to add since I use Battery, slate and Kontakt in most stuff. I also found Modo Drums amazing but rarely fitting over time, so I haven't used it in a while. I only have to add 2 to the list Love-Fi and Monster Drums.
