I think one thing that’s not mentioned is that the multi lane sequencer is polymetric ie. Each lane can have its own length. Very cool.
The multi lane sequencer turns Rando into a pretty neat drum machine or 4 layer melodic sequencer.
You can also overlap samples on each lane so you could have a loop on beat one of the sequencer that runs the length of the sequence but also put other samples on the same lane. This is shown in the video.
Very cool update.

Thanks! Yes, I will make sure that when we update the site, we will also stress that. Also, each lane can have a different division so that you can have one run at 2x the speed.kraster wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 3:26 am I think one thing that’s not mentioned is that the multi lane sequencer is polymetric ie. Is there a way of filling each step with the same note/sample?monkeyc_audio wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 3:37 amThanks! Yes, I will make sure that when we update the site, we will also stress that. I pressed some combo of keys and it filled all the steps with blank notes which is cool.
I tried the shift command option when changing a note but it only changed notes of the same value

ok I understand your confusion!
Shift will select all notes, cmd will select similar notes.
You should not use them together. In the tooltip we say 'shift/cmd' meaning OR
But maybe we should just use 'or' instead of the slash!

Does this randomize start position if you want it to?
I have lots of long field recording it would be cool to play around with randomly but it would be more fun I think if it wasn't always playing from the sample start.

It is not doing that yet but could be an interesting feature!Penguin Classics wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 6:41 am Does this randomize start position if you want it to?
