Why do DAWs taste different?

I’ve read articles that say all DAWs taste the same but to me they taste different.
Ableton Live is sweet, Logic is umami and I find Studio One quite salty.
YMMV

FL Studio obviously has a fruity taste - it's in the name. Not sure why that's a surprise. It would be strange if it tasted the same as the bland run of the mill DAWs.

It probably comes down to your pan settings. I set my pans on medium high heat on a gas stove and I always use an old iron skillet for Pro Tools. For Logic, I highly recommend a nice non-stick pan. For FLS, you'll probably want a saute' pan. Use a wok with Reaper.

Its all about the mix of ingredients, though a lot of people will say its the pans and pots.
Careful how you use additives, though.

Doesn‘t Logic taste more like an Apple?
Either it's cat or underdog, maybe something in between.

Have you tried Reaper?
It tastes pretty grim.

Cubase tastes like a classic 1989 Cabernet Steinberg, with a deep and complex aroma. Lots of oak!

I once made a concoction of Zebra with a little bit of Sausage Fattener and topped it with some Triple Cheese in Cubase and it turned out great. I call it The Steinburger.
