I am using the MS-20 filter quite often but never got the others because I have output FX collection already. But now I think I will have to buy....
Just the creative FXs are so many and seems at least good ....

Are you getting a crossgrade price from having MS-20 filter?
A lot of the FX are really good, and with 34 included you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal.
A big thread about it here: viewtopic.php?t=611087&hilit=Arturia+FX+collection+5

No I got the MS-20 for free so I guess it is normal discount price.
Edit: no actually it seems I have an offer as I own pigments.

My bill came to $69.
I was thinking about buying Fragments, Motions and Coldfire, well for sure Coldfire.
I will for sure get the $69 deal.
This is an unexpected expense.
Not complaining.

I love portal and thermal (less movement) from output and I am using them all the time but having an alternative is a big plus, in particular knowing the quality of arturia plugins.

It's a good bundle. They cover a huge range of useful tools and they keep adding to it, 3 a year it seems.

I've been putting off doing all the FX for 49 and upgrading V8 Instruments for 99. I can't imagine it's a bad deal. I have no idea if I'd use any of what I'd get though.

It's a spectacular deal. There are effects in there that I want which, individually, it's tough to get on sale for that price.Ah_Dziz wrote: Thu Dec 05, 2024 1:23 pm I've been putting off doing all the FX for 49 and upgrading V8 Instruments for 99. I'm super tempted too, but I just did a major pruning of my plugin folders and I still have so many. It's not the time for me to spend days testing out effect plugins and feeling obligated to use stuff because I bought it.

Got the 34 effects for $49, and it’s an amazing deal. But with so many plugins I’m not going to try everything right away. I’ve tried and really like Fragments, Refract, and Coldfire. For these 3 alone it’s definitely worth the money.

Well, just check the software requirements, they recommend 8gb free space.. . Meaning they are comfortably below....DNAudio wrote: Thu Dec 05, 2024 8:47 pm For my limited storage space, yes, it's nuts. Pretty sure that collection is over 20gb uncompressed.
Also, you may want to enter the 21th century anytime now :-p. My phone itself has 512gb....
Finally, you can choose. It is a pack but you are not forced to install everything.
Also no need to install vst, au, vst3 versions. Pick one... Pretty sure you will end up below 2gb at the end.

I have the storage to spare, that doesn't mean I want to support devs using hopelessly bloated UIs.
Last time I tried Arturia there was a ton of duplicated resources scattered throughout various folders. No idea why they just didn't symlink stuff. Looking at the file sizes between versions, they just keep getting bigger, so I'm inclined to believe they haven't improved since the last time I tried them.
Here's some evidence of what I encountered: https://legacy-forum.arturia.com/index. ... c=109055.0
