Alright, so I'm interested in effects and know nothing about these companies who produce them except Arturia as I've been using FX Collection.

On adsr there are great deals I'm looking at, but I want quality you know; and so which companies do you like and which ones on adsrsounds if any?

Check out AudioThing, Audiority, D16 and Fuse Audio Labs. Instead of ADSR look for deals at Plugin Boutique.

Are you looking for creative sound mangling type effects or basic stuff like reverbs,eq’s,compressors etc ?

Ohmforce, Unfiltered Audio, Melda Production, Valhalla DSP, NI, Softube (fx only, don't like their synths), DestroyFX, Waves.

In no particular order. I use the pants off of all these folks' products. I have or have had minor issues with almost all of them over the years but they are all more or less rock solid in performance and usability.
