Radio 3 late at night is good fun, Late Junction and Night Tracks especially. I once heard Arch Enemy on Radio 4, which was very very odd

well i never!
at the time joe whiley and annie mack were supposed to be continuing the peel vibe, but whiley went all pure guitar indie and mack went all dance (mostly) so weren't playing the stuff you might not have ever heard, in among the cool bands you knew.
i may revisit this show in future now i know of it, it's been pretty cool and very varied
ill keep an eye out for the others you mention, when im at a loss and have the room to myself
not sure my mum or foster brother would enjoy it so much

They're definitely not as mental as the freak zone, but I've found lots of new music through bothvurt wrote: Sun Dec 08, 2024 8:45 pm well i never!

Speaking of Jo Whiley (or not, kinda...), I've got vague memory of meeting Steve Lamaq in the Duchess in Leeds years ago. Mark Goodier was better than them two anyway - he played Senser and NIN

There's an archive of recent programmes on BBC sounds good to listen to whilst coding or reading
