Pro-Q4 seems like the obvious guess, but what if the “4” doesn’t mean v4? Maybe it’s something like a channel strip that combines four of their effects (Pro-Q, Pro-C, Pro-G, Pro-DS)? Or a multi-effects plugin combining Volcano, Timeless, Pro-R, and Saturn?

I doubt this is a teaser for a channel strip, but they have mentioned numerous times over the past 10 or so years that it is on their to-do list. I would think that it would borrow from their existing plugins without completely incorporating them, though, to minimize cannabalizing their sales.

Agreed… It wouldn’t need to cannibalize their other products. Any channel strip wouldn’t have as many features/options, so there’d be room for both.

Plus dynamic discounts! It’d be hard to resist adding the others.

a channel strip has always been requested by fans every time a fabfilter teaser comes out. but i don't see this ever happening, it doesnt align with their design philosophy based on their release history. i'm guessing its proq4. the only things i could see them adding is either spectal suppression like soothe or analog modeled filters like equilibrium.

I don’t recall them doing too many teasers, but they typically announce new products a few days before release.
