Sounds like they used their TV3 for the demo.

Such is the world that there’s no such thing as universal appreciation, I think I’m okay missing the freebie.

Well, I'd tell you it's one of the best free synths I've used but I don't want you to feel bad about missing it, so I won't.

I use OBS for realtime video effects, but am learning da vinci resolve for quick effects rendering.
Should I try hitfilm, that's the question billy.

I can haz vfx section plz?
I would stick to DaVinci Resolve. It is pretty powerful, and really free. The "free" version of Hitfilm starts at 10 dollar per month ^^Should I try hitfilm, that's the question billy.

Does anyone know about full frame vs shooting micro 4/3rds?
I’m trying to understand any possible physical limitation of shooting with a smaller sensor.
I understand it won’t be a 1:1 experience when using equivalent lenses, but in any comments section of a M43 video that talks about how great it is (cheaper lenses too), I see comments about the “physical limitations” of M43 compared to full frame without any details.

I've considered a micro 4/3rds camera a few times (e.g., the recent price reductions on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema), but ultimately decided not to go that route and I just stick with my Nikon Z bodies instead since I have a ton of high end/large aperture lenses already. The two biggest turnoffs of the 4/3s for me were the poor low light performance and the depth of field is not as shallow as a full frame camera. I do have some very good Godox constrant lights for video, but I often shoot on location where it's not convenient or possible to use them, so having faster lenses (w/shallower DOF) is a must in many situations for me.

Thank you that gives me something to lookup. I need a better grasp to comparatively see the difference in DOF.cryophonik wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 9:18 pm I've considered a micro 4/3rds camera a few times (e.g., the recent price reductions on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema), but ultimately decided not to go that route and I just stick with my Nikon Z bodies instead since I have a ton of high end/large aperture lenses already. I’m looking at getting a LUMIX S5IIx, or GH5-7.
I might just go for a good deal GH5 when one comes available and still look for a S5IIx once I can get pickier.
I don’t have any commercial use cases, and only creative ideas to explore. Autofocus is the big issue for earlier models, supposedly fixed in the latest releases, but would probably work just fine for me.

Here's an interesting one... its a floating 'transparent' window that applies retro-CRT and similar shader effects to whatever is on the Windows desktop underneath it. Works with OBS.
Appears to be free.

That looks great. Unfortunately, I’m on Mac and don’t want to mess with wine again, but that’s a great idea.

There's tons of videos all over the net, many are crap with idiot topics & chock fulla ads I'm SURE there would be ads aplenty on a video forum here... Best to stop watching ridiculous videos & do more composing... Yup, You guessed it I voted 'NO'....
