Today I received a Payment Advice Note from a different domain, accpayableemea[at]digitalriver.com, so I am sharing it with you.
We are a Japanese company. We have not received payment since July.
They appear to be willing to pay the total amount up until September, when we stopped using their service. The total amount is less than $10,000.
The contract is still ongoing and has not been closed. (It is intended to end soon.)
KYC and due diligence were completed in July 2024, and the request made again in November was ignored.
We did not take any measures such as refunding customers, but simply watched with almost resignation.
I hope this shows that there is hope for us as small owners.
I will let you know when I receive payment.

Maybe it depends on how long ago you got your KYC done & confirmed?
We did it back in June Plus confirmed by them before end of June), and in the meantime got paid for July, August & September (September yesterday)

Yes, you get all the information (customer, email, product...) in the order.canceled hook.

I've used Fastspring now for a week or so and orders are way down on what I would expect.

No failed orders in control panel.

But after reading your posts I set up a webhook for failed and cancelled orders. Almost straight away I got a "Cancelled Order". First thing I did was contact the buyer and point him to my 2Checkout page where he paid. Then I went back to the output from the webhook and noticed something.

The product price included tax was $227.32 (USD)

The failure reason was shown as

[ Risk Factors ]

Payment Type [Card]
Reason [Latest order amount in USD: 227.00 USD]


Is that strange? Why does "Reason" not include the cents? Something somewhere in Fastspring's checkout has rounded down to the dollar and now the payment attempt fails because it doesn't match the actual order amount? Is that why the order failed?

Hmm, no idea. We also had issues with 2checkout already. The service was down two times and so licenses not delivered. This NEVER ever happened with Digital River in many years.

It's so sad that a great technically very reliable platform got destroyed by horrific management...

I suggest that you contact FastSpring regarding this - maybe they need to fix something.
You will probably see various reasons for order cancelation in the future.

The interesting thing is that we received the money first, and the payment notification only after two days. So you can check your bank account now without waiting for notifications.

same here, and I got 3 payment notifications. So I assume it was for July, August, September.
But still need to research and verify.
