My apologies for an extremely newbie question (used to Live), but when playing around with clips, trying to see what works with what, the clip always starts playing from the middle or even the end. I am talking audio clips here. If I launch a Scene all clips correctly start from the beginning, but if I just use the spacebar to start and stop the sequencer, the clips never start from the beginning.

I feel like I've tried all setting all clips to launch at the start but Bitwig expertly ignores this.

Surely I must be doing something wrong.

Technically, make sure the play cursor in the arrangement view is placed at the start of a measure. So if you have a 2 bar measure, make sure the play cursor sits at the start of any part of the timeline that commences a 2 bar measure.
It's not perfect though (at least in the latest 8 track version) and may even be a bug because it doesn't always work placing the cursor at the 5th bar of the timeline (for a 2 bar measure) so I just keep the cursor at bar 1 at all times.
