Tried demo, well, definitely need grab.
Eating about 6-17% (quite setting' / preset dependently, it's seems max that i had time to catch).

Well, as I already was using the demo in a track that I'm working on, I had no option but to buy it, unfortunately.
He heard you :) Two vids with presets showcase, very nice feeling. First one about resonators, second about beat mangling. https://youtu.be/ds6649ygjfc?si=a-OuD3J7Kt93CkHT

Wonder why there is no way in the sympathetic to play the chords I play. Instead of all kinds of chords, I want just the Midi input with the chord I play…

Yeah, MIDI input is monophonic / monodic

So, crap programmers at NI now. Makes sense, dont need programmers to put out all the rubbish they sell now.
Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

Just got this and it's fantastic.

I love the routing. It's definitely one of the more unique multifx out there and covers a massive range of sounds.

Brian Clevinger continues to be a treasure.

Really cool, the only things i forgot to request, as always in such reg method case (for Plasmonic too) - would be cool to add de-activation ability, since there is worry about 3 attemps lol. (Well nothing special but for example if system reinstall will count etc, or hw changes resp).

nvm

Played with this a bit last night, really enjoying it, want to dig in deeper. Seems like there are tons of possibilities.

Finally got to demo this, pretty amazing stuff, I think I have to buy it subito.

The envelope follower is really nice. When inverted and used on the wet or dry output, you get a nice compressor that can do interesting negative ratio type compression. Testing it against some of the UAD compressors, and I preferred Synestia for most cases.

It would be cool, if we could use multipliers to change the attack and release time depending on the modulation destination. In essence, providing multiple followers as modulation sources.

Didn't look at the manual, haven't done more than tweak a preset while it's being routed through a simple low CPU MPE capable synth and it's purchased right away. I never doubted that would be the case. Absynth was my first soft synth purchase all those years ago.

Indeed. :hail:

I was working with Synestia and it dawned on me it's like uhe's MFM/2. However Synestia is like MFM on sterioids. MFM/2 is based on delay lines mostly but has some similar kind of mutated delay/flange/pitchy/diffusion sound but isn't capable of the sonic leaps and bounds Synestia can do.

It would be great to be able to “play” the sympathetic resonator polyphonically.

Or at least have key and scale quantisation.

Outside of drones and harmonically static music the resonator seems hamstrung by being stuck in monophonic midi mode. Block shifting chord types is pretty limiting.

Better tools for drawing the MSEG, e.g (a step/square mode and more curve types), phase adjustment for the LFOs and a more traditional bypass function.

That said i absolutely love this thing. The routing and modulation options are superb. It also sounds superb.

You can definitely hear Absynth’s DNA in there.
