Hi All,

Vitals best feature imo is the ability to create your own wave tables through resynthesis. By adding modulations and effects in the synth (inc those spectral effects) using LFOS you can resynthesize the result into morphable wavetables. Some greate sounds can be created that way. You could even resynth your own drum hit presets and play them back like samples.

Also don't forget single cycle wavetables are allowed to be imported. I've had a lot of fun recently creating some from my favourite hardware synth plugins.

Wish vital allowed multiple single cycles to be loaded to create morphable waveforms. Serum can do this but unfortunately vital can't.

Wishing you all a happy holiday ❤️

simple wavetables can be made with Audacity, load single cycle wave 2048 samples, effect>Repeat 255 times(for 256 frames).same for another single cycle wav in second track, crossfade between tracks.or use WaveEdit (a version)exporting to 1024 samples https://github.com/jeremybernstein/Wave ... .0-alpha.3 and set window size to 1024 samples in Vital editor

Are you all singing jingle bells, eh? A little wumpscut'esque industrial track. It's one of these industrial tracks which uses sampes taken from weird B-Movies to get the full load ot pathos. Like wumpscuts solyent green. The demons speaking in my little piece are obviouls made up ... are they? Or has evil come to earth for real?

Vital Perpetualidade
- To all the hamsters out there -
OSC 190 December 2024 entry by Seap
Synth: Vital

https://soundcloud.com/seap681/vital-pe ... ade-osc190

In a cage of brass, the hamster spun,
His wheel a blur beneath the sun.
"Faster!" cried The Man each day,
"Perpetual motion! No delay!"

But one bright morn, the hamster froze,
A spark of courage in him rose.
He leapt from the wheel, his spirit alight,
And scurried away to reclaim the night.

No longer bound by endless grind,
He sought the world, his peace to find.
For even small hearts yearn to be free,
To live, to dream, eternally.

Lyrics:
Vital perpetualidade (um fluxo sem fim)
Rápido, melhor, forte!
Girando a roda

I normally design all my own patches from init, but I did borrow a few items from friends this time.
Thankyou IV for designing me some sleighbells - spot on!
And thankyou Jasinski for the piano, guitars and crash cymbol.

Christmas Morning
One Potato, Two Potato

Champagne cocktails have been sunk

Farty Nan has just arrived
How on earth is she…

I modified Jasinski's cymbal and a couple of Bowman's snares. I used a bit of Bowman's box guitar and TNS' (TheNeverScene) guitar. I used a lot of a delay tuned guitar (basically my idea). IV! showed me how to tune it though. But because it has a glide I had to make it one note per instance and then use JS note filter. That's extreme patch borrowing for me. Finally NeverBeenInARiot mentioned the ReaVerb "trick" that is used on the cymbal. So a big thanks to those OSCers.

...I mean Leonard Bowman from the OSC btw, not Eric Bowman the vital youtuber.
