I was taking a look to Xenia, but it seems it's not able to load the MW XT firmware from Waldorf legacy support archive (.mid format).
So, I downloaded the (.bin format) firmware from the "eprom synth" reference website(the first result in a Google search) and Xenia can't load that too.
Also : does anyone found anything strange with the "Microwave_XT" zip archive from there ?
Instead, Nodal Red is ok with the (.bin) firmware from the "eprom synth", but presets are not included in the firmware (or Nodal Red can't load that presets).

From memory you need 2 x .bin files for the XT, lower and upper.xhunaudio wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 2:33 am I was taking a look to Xenia, but it seems it's not able to load the MW XT firmware from Waldorf legacy support archive (.mid format).

Pre-sets are a separate download
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, S1, BWS, Live . PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, MPC Live II, Tracker Mini, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Yes, XT firmware archive from "eprom synth" contains 2 .bin files (not recognized by Xenia as a valid firmware) and 2 strange .jpg image files of about 4 and 8 MB completely out of context...

It's been a while since I looked at NodalRed2x but at the time I couldn't find the factory presets on the Clavia site. I had to go digging through The Wayback Machine to find them. Here they are to save anyone else having to go digging for them.

The ones that work for me are called lower_Am29F010.bin and upper_Am29F010.bin if that helps.

Thank you sprnva, presets are now loaded correctly in Nodal Red.
Thank you SLiC - about Xenia, the "Microwave II" roms work flawlessy and all presets are loaded correctly.
The previous Xenia "problem" was with the "Microwave_XT.zip" firmware roms from the "synth eprom" archive : there's definitely something strange with that archive and the 2 included, out of context pictures uploaded by "Anteelope" - NOT in line with the usual professionalism of that "synth eprom" website.
Before the proper "Microwave II" roms, I directly tried to download that non-working "Microwave XT" firmware because I know Xenia emulates the Waldorf "Microwave XT" device.

Not here. I am using the latest builds as listed on the Discord. Running on Windows 10 latest updates installed triggering through Cubase 14.05. No issues here.

Where do i have to check it? I've also noticed that Osirus / OsTIrus (unlike Xenia / Varva) does not have any midi input output options in their context menu (Xenia / Varva does). Every other synth works fine, even Xenia and Varva, but not the Osirus / OsTIrus.
I am using they as AU Plugins in Logic Audio btw..

I can't seem to find the eproms for the Nord lead 2x, only the Nord Lead 2 (is that the same?)
