I'm looking for a simple maximiser like the one in Ozone 11, that is it has a built up upward compression module as well as the limiting one.
My reason for wanting something other than Ozone is that while I'm happy with Ozon 11 Advanced in the future I want to move away from Izotope, I've just got fed up with their upgrading / updating pricing and the way products keep being abandoned. Same goes for NI (spektral delay, vokator, FM8, Absynth) and PA (PPG and tiny GUIs).
Maximizer like Ozone 11s?

99% certain they were inspired by UrsaDSP Boost, which includes an upwards compressor itself & was fairly popular when it released.
Can't help but recommend LoudMax instead even though it doesn't have an upwards compressor. Definitely my favorite sounding brickwall limiter...or rather I like how it doesn't have a sound, it handles the audio so stealthily...it's free, too!

The best ones are Vlad Limiter No. 6 and Variety of Sound Density MKIII. Ozone is the only one I have used with upwards compression, but the MK has a Drive knob which does a good job.
I've read great reviews on Fabfilter Pro MB, that does have it and anything from Fabfilter is topshelf.

One can use fex. TDR Nova for upwards and then TDR Limiter 6.
