Is there any information about the parameters in the sound editor? It looks like there are pop-up windows when using the synth, but I don't see anything in the manual on the website.

There will be a video looking at all the algorithms and the details and quirks of the operators/oscillators as well as a detailed help guide. Video coming this week

Looking forward to this! I'm specifically wondering if individual operators can be controlled with envelopes as in traditional (DX7 like) FM synths? From what I've seen so far, it looks as if the envelopes control more global parameters?

well bought both of your plugins so im also supporting you and not only bashing the GUI of FM Zone. playing in the evening/night with dimmed light is sadly hurting the eyes... but yeah i like the sound...

still think let the user decide the colours... doesnt look too complicated to implement different colours

Is automation working for anyone? In Reaper I can record automation data fine. But FM Zone won't read it on playback.

just tried it in Reaper, recorded some automation of a few parameters, it recorded fine, but then like you said the automation wasn't working
i closed the FM Zone interface while Reaper was running and suddenly all the automation came to life, working as expected, when i reopened the FM Zone interface audio went pretty crackly and the automation parameters went pretty jerky

weird bug or my laptop's not powerful enough, all fine when the synths interface is closed though

Maybe it’s related to something I wanted to complain about for a while: in Ableton Live, only very few parameters are exposed for automation. It’s a great fm synth, but limited because of this.

Thanks for the info. I can confirm automation reads after closing the GUI. On my machine, re-opening the GUI doesn't seem to have the issue you are experiencing.

In Reaper, it looks like over a hundred parameters are available for automation. Is it fewer in Live?
