Currently you can just add your own tags, not set up the bank. This is coming eventually, though, NI is well aware of this request.liv wrote: Tue Dec 17, 2024 1:04 pmThis can be a milestone. Trying to find a way to revert to 1.4.4, silly me for updating^^seangm wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2024 12:56 amThanks for mentioning that, hadn't installed the update yet and will skip it now.Daru925 wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2024 12:32 am They managed to make the update worse lol
Now it takes 10 seconds for the first instance to load, and 4 seconds to display/load each subsequent instances, everytime i switch. (in ableton)
Last patch it was less than a second for me^^
I've been fervent user of mx but this issue is kinda dealbreaker (for me).
Rendering is noticeably slower and i only use one screen, so i switch the interface display on/off often.
Hope it's not a fix a problem, create new ones situation.
Oh well maybe its a sign to only use stock synths.

oh yes, last updates haven't slowed down, but 1.4.5 takes some seconds to open. I have downgraded to 1.4.4 again. No it's over. I will stick with my old NI downgrades from End 2022.Daru925 wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2024 12:32 am They managed to make the update worse lol

They have ruined since Kontakt 7 all products. Like Maschine 3 or Kontakt 8 or Guitar Rig 7 - it takes 50 seconds to lunch that a programm if you have many Plugins installed. And Massive X and Reaktor 6.5 have been the last products that aren't affected, but no Massive x also takes 10 seconds to start this plugin while 1.4.4 takes only one second.
I have also tried old massive Update 1.7 which opens up fast
This company hjas developed into a total disaster

MX always took some time to show up for me, frankly, since day one. Cannot say it got longer with 1.4.5. Actually, weirdly, it seems like it might've actually be shorter by a couple seconds now.

The scalable user interface means you get very ugly chunky pixels at anything above 100%. Not ideal, but better than nothing!jules99 wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2024 10:56 am I'm not going to necro some age-old thread on the OG Massive, but this was a pleasant, unexpected surprise on the 1.7.0 update:

No difference in opening Massive X on my system (I'm on Mac M1Pro). First intance takes 1-2s, after that opening each new instance is basically immediate.

The fastest loading MX version, for me, is 1.4.1. That's the one I keep using.

Seems loading times vary wildly depending of equipment huh.
Downgraded to 1.4.4 and it's all good now.

No problems with loading speed on my machine at all (Win 11), but it's a recent and a powerful one.
Anyway, very happy with the latest updates.
Both, OG Massive and MX, now scale propertly and are fully DPI aware. I'm using Cakewalk Sonar for DPI testing.
Can't believe all user sounds are now taggable in MX! If things keep going in this direction, perhaps at some point
# KK will remember the user preferred initial size and configuration
# MX will remember the user preferred initial state of the browser sticky mode
# and other NI plugins become fully DPI aware...
# maybe evern Reaktor Core gets developed further......

I think it’s pretty safe to say that they’re not even working on polyphonic aftertouch support, even considering that they’ve been selling a controller that has it for a year. Shame. I’d get a lot more use out of it if they did.
