I tried that too, but couldn’t get it to work. I tried with Live and Reaper. I’ll try it with Logic again.el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote: Sun Dec 15, 2024 6:20 pmJust set up a separate Sequoia install on my main drive, so I'm now able to dual-boot (Ventura or Sequoia). B2 refused to install on Seq from the main installer. However, dragging the component as well as the 2caudio folder from 'Application Support' allowed me to load it into Logic just fineelxsound wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2024 10:58 pmThere’s always the possibility that Apple will reverse course a bit. Seems during the beta of the OS, they took away/then added back options for installing from unknown developers.aMUSEd wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2024 10:39 pmSorry I had them installed already (going back before Big Sur but always on M1 of course) so didn't encounter this, bummer if I wanted to reinstall I guess.elxsound wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2024 8:13 pm Just a heads up for anyone moving to a clean install on Seqouia.
Unfortunately, I can’t get the 2Caudio plugins that have been confirmed to run on ARM based systems to install.
The installer does launch (after allowing it to run via Security & Privacy), but it ends with a software not found error message.
I used Pacifist to Install, and it mostly works correctly, but placing the AU plugin in the plugin folder, not in the Components folder. That’s an easy fix, but no host will recognize it. It will either show as a blank/empty space or in the case of Live, it has a message saying it failed to initialize.
In Pacifist, it shows these are unsigned.
If anyone has any other ideas, specific to Seqouia, please let me know and I’d be happy to try them.
The worst part of this, if it stays, is knowing it can run but only if you upgrade from an older OS. I technically could do that now, but it would be a mess and losing Breeze on older projects might be the easier option.
Also, I did try simply dumping the AU of Breeze 2 from the Intel machine, but that didn’t work either.
I definitely don’t understand the problem.![]()

Yup, still no luck.
Both the folder and component were added to their correct locations. Doesn't show up in Logic. Live shows a "failed to initialize" message.

It would be nice if 2C sorted out their problems, or stop selling these products, or at the very least post clearer on their product pages the current status of these products: that they will not be updated at all moving forward. Leaving them for sale when they dont have the ability to access the code seems... unethical to me.

Yes, which seems to be quite an indicator regarding who's mainly to blame regarding their falling out.plexuss wrote: Sun Dec 15, 2024 11:40 pm It would be nice if 2C sorted out their problems, or stop selling these products, or at the very least post clearer on their product pages the current status of these products: that they will not be updated at all moving forward. While we just heard one side of the story, it appears rather plausible in its entirety in the light of things.
And assuming one wanted to get rid of a Russian business partner as painlessly as possible, the timing was perfect indeed.

They should definitely post that if that's the case.plexuss wrote: Sun Dec 15, 2024 11:40 pmor at the very least post clearer on their product pages the current status of these products: that they will not be updated at all moving forward.

Bought the 2Caudio Everything Promo Pack second-hand from a very reputable user recently after trying the demos and being blown away (especially with Aether, B2, Breeze and Kaleidoscope). Transfer request was made on Dec 09.. and again on Dec 12 via their license transfer form and via email. Not a single reply from 2Caudio. Not even an auto-reply. I gave up waiting on Dec 20.. and the seller immediately refunded me within an hour of requesting a refund.
To my ears, the best reverbs I`ve ever heard.
Things are def not going well at 2Caudio, it seems.
Anyway, gonna take a look at Liquidsonics Cinematic Rooms and Illusion (as I already bought and love Reverberate). I`m happy with the few great reverbs I already have, but I`m def disappointed 2Caudio reverbs won`t be in my toolbox as well..

It's definitely a regrettable situation. And while I have no legal experience, nor any insider information, I'm inclined to believe that Andrew is legally being prevented from any dealings or communications for a period of time, until all has been settled.panspOrmia wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2024 3:03 am Bought the 2Caudio Everything Promo Pack second-hand from a very reputable user recently after trying the demos and being blown away (especially with Aether, B2, Breeze and Kaleidoscope). I don't see an alternative explanation that makes sense.
But I'm glad the seller refunded you.

I take a chance here to bring it to people's attention again that 2CAudio has officially received a Cease & Desist Letter from my US attorney on 9 May 2022 in which we demanded to immediately stop illegal commercialization and distribution of software products that contain my IP. Please be aware of that before you decide to purchase anything from 2CA. Buying/selling a second-hand license is not an exclusion from this.
It would be really nice if KVR administration will label all 2CAudio products accordingly in order to avoid mis-informing people and making them into situations like panspOrmia just experienced.

You can't go wrong with anything by Liquidsonics.panspOrmia wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2024 3:03 amAnyway, gonna take a look at Liquidsonics Cinematic Rooms and Illusion (as I already bought and love Reverberate).
I've got them all.
if you could only get 2 I would suggest Cinematic Rooms Pro and Tai Chi. Tai Chi is technically a Reverb Foundry Product, but it's really Matt at Liquidsonics.
Good luck.
