This release isn’t stable at all? Twice now I’ve created a project getting a rough draft going just arranging some one shots to make some loops literally no plugins and crash.. has happened twice.

Yeah. I just saw this. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come. I don't want ads in my software.

I’ve been using it pretty heavily this week on three song projects - one started from scratch with my main template and two that are pretty far along - and I haven’t had any crashes. Maybe it’s an incompatibility with a plugin?

As I mentioned above, I’ve been working in 11.1 a lot this week, but I haven’t seen that pop-up. However, I already have Logic on my iPad Pro, so I’m guessing it only targets users who don’t. Anyway, I agree and hope they’re not going to start putting ads in Logic.

I also saw that ad and wondered where it popped up from, but quickly ignored it. Once may be acceptable, but hope these things don't become regular!

11.1 working fine so far, but I think there may be a 11.1.1 bugfix update next month.

There is an automation bug in Logic 11.1 - often it just ignores the automation and only by clicking on the automation lane with the mouse it then latches to the stored values - not so funny.

As expected, 11.1.1 update is out. Mostly bug fixes.

Plug-ins on Software Instrument tracks are now unloaded as expected when the Off button is activated.

Discovered this two days back and I was wondering if this was a bug. Glad they fixed it.

Did they change the way the cycle button works in the new Logic 11?? I turn on the cycle button and then select the range I want it to loop. When I hit play the cycle button switches off and the selected gold range goes dark. This is NOT how it functioned in Logic 10. I'm using Logic 11.1.1 on Sonoma. M1 Studio Ultra. What am I doing wrong??

I think you have skip cycle activated. right click your cycle and check.

With all the updates we have received so far, I am hopeful that 11.2 will have focus on the much required Loop Browser area.

I hope they put back the old drummer interface for 11.2
Why would they take functionality away and replace it with something else.
You dont replace things in the software world you create new things.
If they wanted a new drummer interface they should have made it and kept the old one also.

There, I needed to rant about it some place.
