This time its free for everyone it seems.
Seems like its free only for owners of other vengeance plugins, "VPS Scope is free, but you need at least 1 other (DONGLE) based plugin from us (everything except Avenger counts)".
That's been changed, even though its still on the product page. It is free now for everyone. I just downloaded. I only have Avenger and Scope is running fine. no serial or login needed at least when I ran it.

From an email from Vengeance on 23 Dec:
VPS Scope, a powerful analyzer plugin that we’re now making free for everyone! Simply visit the Plugin section on our website to download it.
Thank you again for an incredible year!

No, its still there on the plugin page, lefthand side, just under the price.
Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

I don't know how that's implemented on Pigments but Avenger also has additive.
So does Falcon, but in both I do not find their implementation to be particularly accessible, whereas in Pigments it is very well thought through and gets musical results easily. Also I strongly suspect Pigments 6 is not far off, hopefully with more goodies.

Re the VA engine discussions - personally I have always thought of Pigments as more than the sum of its parts, the engines can be used on their own but their real strength is when combined - particularly when you get into cross modulation.

Omnisphere never goes on sale and doesn't have a demo.
But the real reason. I believe many people think Omnisphere is just a sampler and rompler and forget is a monster synth with hundred of OSC and many VCF.
