i put this here at everything else because
i'm presuming that all kvr members are
connected to music in one way or another

and what they have on their walls affects their music output
sure, one might not be making music at the moment,
but what about the music they might make

and what about the really busy ones
are their walls full of stuff or is there nothing there

norman bates had stuffed animals on his walls
but he was no musician?

anyways, i myself have only one thing that i put on my wall
it is this:

i plan on getting more wall posters
mug shots makes me laugh
it's seems so real and unplanned

i want to get these, but they are kind of expensive
30 dollars a piece

You must have a helluva lot of wall space... Our place is small so Wife pretty much dictates what is on the walls...

The David Bowie image brought back memories... As a junior in Culver City HS in late 70's I was in a 3-person band that played 'Wild Horses' for some get-up in the auditorium with all classes attending, We were sort of an intermission tune... Anyways we 3 practiced at the guitarists house in garage... Nearing the end of our sessions he brought us in the house to his bedroom where he had tons of Bowie posters above his BED!...

I have a Frank Frazetta poster that I had put on a backing with the intention of framing, then got too poor to buy a frame. I also have some paper rubbings of ancient Roman coins this lady gave me when I cleaned her house and she was going to toss them. I also have a bamboo scroll with a gorgeous picture painted on it that I got too long ago.

Frazetta the true KING of Fantasy Art back when actual ability was 'analog with NO undo'... I used to be mystified by many of the old comic book 'Inkers' with their sable brush lines... Tried it myself as a teenager getting proper inks & red sable brushes, could not 'get it' very hard you really gotta learn from a pro on that one but no need for that nowadays as software programs do your 'sable brush lines'...

I used to have tons of rock star posters, but gave up on that idea when it took up all my wall space. :hihi:

I love that. It's from The Killing Joke and if you read graphic novels you should get it. I love me some Frazetta. His paperback covers were the reason I read all the Edgar Rice Burroughs books. Tarzan was written in, like 1906, and still stands up today.

those mug shot posters are 11 inches x 14 inches
i only have one poster at the moment
lots of room for those small ones

your friend have something in common with david sylvian
that guy was really into david bowie too
his band is called japan

i'm not sure if david bowie was proud of that band
either way, i'm keeping my japan greatest hits cd

the record labels keep calling cds "greatest hits"...
even though the band(s) didn't actually have hits

i mean, the ramones have a greatest hits cd
with like 20 songs in it
and they were never on billboards?

you have to mop that floor
when cats sit, their bunghole is in contact with the floor
and they like to sit on your face while you sleep
that's why my bedroom's door has a lock

Id like to have a video wall for my video synthesis stuff. No doubt there are a lot
of paintings and posters id like.

Reubens or Dobson for classic art would be
nice or maybe some caneleto landscapes,
or reubens for that matter.

Currently, i have nothing on my walls.

i have: a guitar, a bass, a dry-erase board, and some acoustic panels.
i would like: a nicer guitar, a nicer bass, a bigger dry-erase board, and thicker acoustic panels

last place i lived at, we painted the living room walls with "chalkboard paint" which was pretty fun, especially looking at it all the next morning after a party (we had a big bowl of chalk and encouraged its liberal use). my roommate often used it to teach me about whatever she was learning in school.
