Hello all and thanks for reading. I'm looking for something that will do what the Boss Slicer pedal does in an easy and quick way. The keywords here (as per the title) are: easy and quick.
I know there are other prior threads with some valid answers, I went through them and none of the suggested products ended up doing what I'm looking for. I know that Amplitube has one (it's not quick or easy to set up and I don't like IK anyway). I also know Guitar Rig has that freak module, but it's not very intuitive either. Also I'm sure that Shaperbox can do it... but it's neither easy nor quick (besides the $80+ it costs)... the same with many multi-effect plugins out there.
I really am looking for a simple, quick rhythmic slicing effect for some guitar parts in a song, something I don't have to watch 30 videos and read the manual twice to make it work, something that will take me under 30 seconds to get a simple fourth, eighth or sixteenth slicer effect (I don't care about modulation, reverb, glitching... blah blah).
Do you happen to know of one easy, quick slicer type effect?
Thanks all!

You can try KKSlicer_64bit from this free bundle of FSU effects by Kammerl Audio. Very easy, very quick and comes with an offensive GUI (at least to some people). it's the first download on this page:

It is indeed what I was looking for (and I love the offensive gui... I wish more plugins were that offensive). There is a big issue though, it creates noises and I'm not sure what it is. I've tried with different DAWs and with different buffer/sample rates and it's the same, for some reason, in my system (windows 10) the plugin creates really annoying noises. It's a pity because it's really easy to use for the simple cases I need.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion though!

Sorry to hear that. I'm also on Win10 and the plugin working fine here in Bitwig Essentials. Once, there was a No-GUI plugin called InstaJungle, which was exactly what you need, unfortunately it was only 32-bit and it's not available anymore. There's also the first free version of Instalooper, not sure how good it is but worth a try:

Maybe the Trance Gate plugin that's included in Kilohearts free essentials bundle.

Surely there must be consensus by now...
