By "that," are you referring to a double necked electric guitar/instrument? If so, Larry Collins of the Collins Kids (1956) predates Jimmy by some years as he played a double neck Mosrite.



Now, this may qualify for this thread, but, then again, the Andrews Sisters from 1938 did a pretty good job with the song.



All that said, Larry Collins played the doubleneck guitar because his mentor, Joe Maphis, also played a doubleneck Mosrite.

There's one song I can't find anywhere. Someone put it out as a White Label in the 90's and it was a remix of Kitty Kallen - In the Chapel in the Moonlight. It was glorious but it has disappeared from the face of the Earth.
