I've asked Sound Particles support but maybe someone here knows?
how do I refresh/ rescan databases so that files I may have added to a folder are now shown?
I create a number of my own samples so I am constantly adding new samples into folders which have already been added to a database. I can see you have "recheck local files" but that seems only to remove files from the database that have been removed or renamed in the original source folders.
The answer from Sound Particles is that it doesn't do it but they will consider the request. Unfortunately it makes it more or less useless to me. I'm constantly adding new samples I've created into existing folders. Because of the their nature, e.g "spade scraped on concrete" I'd need to tag them because it's unlikely that any analysis would give me "metal", "stone" "scrape". When I come to add more samples to my "metal and stone" folder I'd need to delete the database and so lose the tagging.

That's crazy that it doesn't. Thanks for providing this info.

well it might now, that post is from 2 years ago. I've just bought Sononym as that give me more of what I need (still waiting for the custom tagging though)
