Unfortunetely not. We did look into it. but you need a UPC (Universal Product Code / Barcode) which costs and you also need to be a registered business (which can cost a lot and would mean we would have to pay taxGlassback wrote:Here's another common question:

Sister Ray is a london shop. Although they might do it, We would have to find similar stores all around the world and try and co-ordinate deals with all of them and of course work out how the money is to be dealt with. I'm also not sure how Tax would work if we sold through shops either... and of course as the sale will be now occuring on every country as apposed to just in the UK (as the paypal account is registered here), I think we will be subject to many different taxation laws... But I'm not sure how that all works legally.Wicker Man wrote:Well, if its for charity I am sure that a shop (online or high street) would compromise their margin for this cause. Someone like Sister Ray would be a good starting point...they have a 'real' shop and online as far as I know.
well if anyone is willing to donate one that would be great.Wicker Man wrote: With regards to a UPC or EAN code...companies are usually issued these en bloc and there is no reason why someone could not donate a barcode to you.
As far as I know, you don't even need a PayPal account. You can pay through the PayPal site with a credit card without ever opening an account. I know I've done it in the past.vurt wrote:...and yes i know some people dont have a paypal account but i bet most people know someone with one?...
I am still slightly concerned that paypal is/ will put some people of buying the CD. I have quickly looked at alternatives like worldpay, but they all seem to require a merchant account and a registered business?... Does anyone else have any ideas for paypal alternatives?Rozzer wrote:As far as I know, you don't even need a PayPal account.
