as much as i've leaned on Kontakt over the years, i find myself moving away from it gradually in favor of stuff like UVI, Synchron, Sine, and BFD. the stuff in regular use is pretty basic:

flying hand percussion
scarbee vintage keys
noire felt
orange tree evolution flatwound
impact soundworks shreddage fretless
sampletekk TVBO studio grand
embertone woodwinds

fun mentions, loved but used sparingly:
strix emisynth
spitfire albion v tundra
tronsonic stoner planet T
performance samples freebies (solo violin and cello legatos)
hideaway studio string collection 2
niue (pianobook)
dan keen soft string spurs (pianobook)
osterhouse pathfinder violin
and of course, the empty patch awaiting my own samples

Post

1. Geosonics II - SonicCouture
2. Thrill - Galaxy
3. Threnody Strings - SonicCouture
4. Mysteria - Galaxy
5. Haunted Spaces - SonicCouture
6. Glassworks - SonicCouture
7. Broken Wurli - SonicCouture
8. EP 73 Deconstructed - SonicCouture
9. Pre-bass - Scarbee
10. Cymbology - Soundiron

exactly one of these is at all replaceable by anything else.

chances are quite low I'll be buying more for the platform as Native Access can't finish an installation here (and on many others' system) and it deletes the disk image (which does successfully download 100% of the time here). The culprit is something called aria2(c).

(technical term: "is shit".) It's possible, of course, to access the .dmg in the split second before the idiot thing deletes it.

+1 for SonicCouture, picked up Sun Drums recently and they're pretty natural sounding as far as Kontakt drum libraries go.
