A friend of mine calls all synthesizers "Moogs" (pronounces it "Mewg" instead of the correct "Mogue" - rhymes-with-Rogue pronunciation). Sort of like how some people may call all facial tissues Kleenex. Perhaps the OP did the same. Because nothing in that "teaser" make me think "sounds like one of Bob Moog's synthesizers".

Definitely sounds digital (with a lot of reverb). Nothing to indicate it's an emulation, so probably yeah their own hybrid synth of some sort.

A much needed Modular update is what I'd wanted. Some kind of wavetable synth seems more likely. If It adds a new flavour to Modular I'd be quite happy too.

So Softube has been emulating, but maybe now are innovating. So maybe changing from those who can't to those who can?Teksonik wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 12:44 pm Those who can, innovate. Those who can't, emulate. We'll see which it is....

Agreed, I'd much rather see an improved modular interface than anything new. Love the sound of Modular, hate the interface/workflow.Fernando Carvalho wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 1:11 pm A much needed Modular update is what I'd wanted.
