Gah! Thwarted by a fellow Aussie!
Interestingly when I first discovered BJ Porter here in the comp his Soundcloud profile location was Heard and McDonald Islands.

Hey Rob, yeah entries have been pretty sparse, I still goof around with music stuff most days/weeks but have taken to tweaking a few things and going back to streaming services. Zebralette is a powerful little bheashtie tho, perhaps I should get off my butt and have a crack
[EDIT] Silly unintentional jokes aside, I have just had a look at your Soundcloud page and have seen that your attendance here has been nothing short of phenomenal! A fine effort, hats off to you sir.

Too bad. I was excited to see what people come up with for Zebralette 3.

Whenever I try to download Zebralette 2 for Mac on the u-He website, I get the Zebra Legacy package instead.

That's correct. The installation package is shared for both "full" Zebra and Zebralette.Korg Supporter wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 7:23 pm Whenever I try to download Zebralette 2 for Mac on the u-He website, I get the Zebra Legacy package instead.

My submission for the Zebralette round.
I had to tame some clicking (maybe a few clicks left here and there), but otherwise I really enjoyed the synth. It's very easy to create playable sounds that respond to mod wheel, velocity, etc.
Made in Cakewalk. 14 instances of Zebralette. Magic7, OTT and W1 Limiter as the external FX.

Question re an old OSC from 2011- is it possible I can replace my entry in the archive mp3 player from OSC26?
I've updated my entry with minor improvements and posted it on my SoundCloud but would also like to replace the current mp3 from OSC26 web player with my updated mp3.
Those old entries apparently are now stored at archive.org so I don't know if this possible, or if the admin can update/replace my mp3?
I can provide a new link to the new mp3 say from google drive, if that would help. The html code for the player from OSC26 would need to be edited for my new file location path.

Although I am not a legal expert, I think the following summarises what this means:67maxx wrote: Thu Jan 16, 2025 2:17 pm Hi, I have a question.
This is my first time trying this, but I read something that isn't completely clear to me:
'Creative Commons license: Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0'.
I'm not sure what exactly this means.
I have a DistroKid account and would like to release this song (with some modifications) after the end of this challenge.
Would this be possible?
This is the license under which the One-Synth-Challenge publishes your tune in the archive. It basically enables OSC to store and distribute your submitted track for the purposes of the challenge. This license prohibits others from using your track for commercial purposes, or from making derivative works without your express permission, whilst allowing it to be downloaded, played, distributed in its original form.
You retain the copyright as author, and can of course do as you wish with your own track. However, you will not receive royalties from the version distributed under this license.
