Question: Anybody know where the structure/edit view themes went? Did they completely remove that feature at some point in an update? It used to be in the Preferences/General tab, according to the manual, but there's no such feature in Reaktor 6.5.. at least not here on my computer. Was this removed or moved somewhere else? Would love to try the bright white theme when working during the day.

Afaik , you can only select the themes in reaktor standalone mode , not as a plugin .
Changes are applied to both .

i find it very warm and beautiful sounding with nice and easy to use UI, it is a bit cpu heavy but i am lowering the sample rate because i use it for lo-fi and it is ok at 33 000 or 22 000

Super 8 is great, but produces CPU spikes, i.e. clicks and pops even on Mx Macs, regardless of the version used (standalone or Reaktor). According to NI support this won’t get fixed.

Nope. Can not confirm. I just ran 4 instances of it maxing out the polyphony on all four of them. Zero clicks, zero pops. Works perfectly. I've got a base Mac Mini M1.

You need to understand that it pre-allocates the CPU usage, meaning it "steals" a chunk of CPU and doesn't let it go so of course if you add it to an already existing project that is close to maxing out it's cpu, then it will immediately start causing issues even with a single note of polyphony. But if you are under the limit of what a single CPU core can handle, then it works just fine.

Reaktor never produces cpu spikes , as soon as an ensemble is loaded the cpu stays there.(
Unless you' re inc/decreasing the nr of voices for the ensemble , and or enable/disable certain macros ( modules ) by the use of switches .

Interesting, but not my experience, even with lightweight projects. And I seem to remember several threads at NI‘s forums where people reported the same problem. Also, these spikes tend to creep in after a while or when reopening an existing project which didn’t cause problems before.

In any case, I’ve stopped using it or even troubleshoot it after NI told me they won’t look into it. Fortunately it isn’t an essential synth for me, and there are plenty of alternatives for this kind of sound. Still a nice synth, though, I’m happy it works for you.

NI Reaktor, I forgot how awesome it is
