BONES: You might want to look into the docking options for eXT. It's something that Jorgen added recently and might be useful if you're used to Orion's method of having all the windows onscreen concurrently.
Add a custom page.

Send the VSTs you want there.

Just click on the tab to go to that page. Or you can use F2 and F3 to move through the tabbed pages.

Here you can have everything on one screen if you want. Or split VSTs between tabbed pages depending on what you want to concentrate on at any one time (VSTi's, EQ, mixing, effects, arps). You can even send the sequencer here if you want. Just click on windows aka Orion, or use TAB to move through them. You can also select any of them by using the drop-down menu on the tab itself.

eXT's a great choice to supplement Orion & for live use, you're right, you can't go wrong..
Start getting into the habit of working in the (standalone)sequencer & loading the eXT VSTi into it with your best saved presets..You only have to do that work once & you can load em up on the fly while you're performing..
Also, go ahead & make yourself a few extra instances of the eXT VSTi/fx with different output configurations..just make sure you place your license key into each varition's folder you create.

that's because the screenshots you see are from messy peopleKriminal wrote:It just looks so messy![]()
Any port in a storm tho, eh....
it's quite easy to put some structure in your eXT projects, although I would like some more control over colours to make visual distinction between windows

I cannot play an instrument. I cannot remember melodies. I cannot sing. I have bad timing. I know way too little about counterpoint.
