Gah! Really wicked sound in this one.
The "hover sound" really builds up great together with the rest of the soundscapes. And the pulsating bas-ish line after that is excellent, and sets a very different mood.
As i've mentioned before in your threads this genre is really not what i usually listen to, but i always download and listen to your stuff becouse the great sounds and soundscapes you always have. Anyway i think this would fit really well into some high quality- movie or game -production, excellent ambient sounds and soundscapes.

absynth riding on the back of m42 via a sidechain and therefore folloing a similar totem-esque feel

Awesome vurt.
What did you do with that bass?
My monitors blew my hair off my head with the wind (the little I have left)
- awesome stuff.
Very dark soundscape-type soundtrack - erm, no genre required, just call it vurtology.

as for the bass, its just layers of the same riff through a couple of intruments then fed through fx

I'm opening it....

Awesome track john, that bass made me stand in the corner of my room so I could get the full effect, as I dont have a sub. I've said it before, lots of others have said it before....
MAKE A DEMO CD AND SEND IT OFF TO SOME INDY FILM DEVELOPERS/ FILM SCORER TYPES FOR f**k SAKE
Good stuff
