Feature wise it's very similar to Decimort 2, but it sounds different. With Decimort 2 I can come closer to the sound of vintage samplers. Must be the filters.

I have quite a few bitcrushers, but Decimort 2 and SP950 I use the most.

Anyway, I second ChipCrush and also raise airwindows Dark2, which has a continuous crush control and unique dither.

If you are looking to fine-tune the sound of a bitcrusher, consider changing the frequency focus with emphasis/de-emphasis processing.
Finally someone mentions airwindows! As much as I like certain commercial options imo Chris is unrivaled in experimentation with bitcrushing & sample-rate reduction.
Pick anything from the "lo-fi" or "dithers" category & profit. Beam is definitely the most unique & "out there" of his, it literally screeches at you.

different bit crusher for every track and one for the master, the bits are so crushed that the sound becomes granular, try now :?
:)
I don't think i've ever used a bitcrusher (i never liked early samplers) but i'm enjoying this thread. It's interesting that so many have other functions, because technically, a bitcrusher is a bitcrusher (aside from the crappy early DACs, but i guess that's also part of the "character").

Another Bitcrusher I like and use that hardly ever gets any mention: is Jaws from 112 db...
