Should we rename "Rhythm Mapper From Track" to something simpler, e.g. "Follow Track" or "Follow Track Rhythm"?

Sure thing.. I may have to re-do the whole video series for version 5. I'll work on this soon.. If you watch the version 4 version, it should help. There are a few differences, but, it is still pretty close. Those are on the web site for RC..

Hi all. Happy New Year.

Note forwarding question. I have 3 tracks:

Track 1 - Called "Midi" (I have a piano pattern generator phrase on here)
Track 2 - Called "Long Notes" (I have a long strings (Celli) vst on here)
Track 3 - Called "Short Notes" (I have a short string (full pizz) vst on here)

Track 1: Note Forwarding: Notes greater than 1/4 in length to track "Long Strings"
Track 1: Note forwarding: Notes less than 2/4 in length to track "Short Strings"

Works as expected but if I regenerate Track 1 (G), the updated note forwarding does not happen consistently.

The workaround is to regenerate (G) then go back into note fowarding and turn the feature off by clicking the small speaker icon and clicking the feature back on.

Anyone else have this issue?

Also can the note length criterion be ">=" or "<=" because in the above example, determining where 1/4 goes is unnecessarily complicated.

The reason I'm doing this is because it's a great alternative to using keyswitches so forwarding to different articulations based on note criteria is a very powerful feature.

I wonder, if the program based on the algorithm of which the Audio to MIDI conversion function is written and the RC is updated, will Attila update it in the RC?

I keep an eye on the NeuralNote project. The model weights were not changed in the last 2 years but there were a few minor changes for the source code, which I'll include soon. Maybe it is just me but when I tested the original Spotify Basic Pitch, it worked better than the model in the NeuralNote project. Probably because the model weights were converted? For the same audio, Basic Pitch creates better MIDI (but that is written in python, so it is not usable for me).

I need some help from macOS users... Will you please try the VST3 or AU plug-ins either for v5.4.3 or the current beta version to see if mouse movements and clicking works and there are no deadlocks? Some users reported problems that I cannot reproduce. But first, you need to download the latest version built on January 19. This is important because there were some serious issues in the original v5.4.3 that was uploaded on January 13th.

It turned out v5.4.3 created more issues than it solved. There were some 'dangerous' changes about data locking mechanism. I developed a tool for watching locks and signal the possibility of a deadlock.

So far I have noticed that in the latest beta I often cannot close the inspector windows and the only option left is to reboot.
