The top section also can display the effects section and arpeggiator, and the diagram on the left will show vector type of settings you can configure.Frantz wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2025 11:57 amPlease tell me there is a compact mode. We don't need the keyboard, air vents, or a rendering of the table it is sitting on. Also that signal flow diagram is another waste of screen real estate.plexuss wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2025 5:38 amHere's a screenshot from the AU running in Reaper. I have it at 100% and the bottom got cut off on my 3008x1692 monitor. This is as large as I can post and keep it under the max limit.

I don’t think there’s a way to hide the keyboard.

Agreed. Has more bite without being harsh. A nice combination that I don't get from other plugins.Dartelec wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2025 2:03 pm To my ears Xils Eighty has somewhat more "oomph" or gnarliness than for example Model 77. I bought it and now enjoy playing it!

Opposite boat but same conclusion. I own three synths from them, and only the CS-80 V from Arturia. I don't hear any groundbreaking new level of emulation here. I might demo it, but despite their synths generally sounding good I'm not a fan of their UX, they have mediocre browsers with no way besides a mouse to change patches. So it's long shot that I would buy it, but who knows? I love the Syn'X, couldn't tell you if it sounds like the Elka Synthex, but it's got a good sound.starflakeprj wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2025 12:58 pm I own licenses for CS-80 V, GX-80 and Model 77 already. I'll guess I pass XILS Lab's equivalent since I don't have anything else from them, and I tend to collect everything possible from developers once I make the first purchase![]()

Listened to some demos. They all sounded like they were made by a bunch of smelly hippies on drugs.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.
