I am nearly finished editing the next video, but found out I only did the OBS screen capture audio in mono! Oh well, I’ll have to re-take the stereo randomisations bits and try and reproduce closely the same actions of using the plugin, so another day or two before the overview video is done.
How are people going with the latest release?

Smooth sailing so far, but that was the case with all recent releases.

Would you consider adding the release date of the latest versions of each plugin on the website? Bit handier to see an update was released on 10 Jan than to know it's v1.2.13

Yep, I can add that automatically to the download info based on the date of the file. It's also included in the release notes.mustgroove wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2025 8:19 pm Would you consider adding the release date of the latest versions of each plugin on the website? Ok, all done. I've appended to each download link the date in brackets in year month day order so the North Americans don't get confused eg:andy-cytomic wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 3:14 amYep, I can add that automatically to the download info based on the date of the file. I know this is nitpicking, but please have your installers remember the last install location for VST 2 plugins. (Or maybe I made the wrong choice once and that's what it remembers.)
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I have been meaning to say this for months.pough wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 7:14 pm I know this is nitpicking, but please have your installers remember the last install location for VST 2 plugins. (Or maybe I made the wrong choice once and that's what it remembers.)
Yes. it defaults to a vst2 location that no one else uses (I think steinberg did YEARSSSS ago).

Shouldn't be too hard to add storing of the last chosen location to my inno setup scripts, but that won't happen until the next round of releases for each product.pough wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 7:14 pm I know this is nitpicking, but please have your installers remember the last install location for VST 2 plugins. So how is The Scream itself going? CPU usage, tone, presets, how you're using it in productions? I am thinking of adding a padlock button to the UI somewhere to "lock" the main UI elements as a shortcut for loading just the mod slots from a preset and leaving everything else untouched (unless the load is coming from a song).

Thank you, very helpful and straight to the point like usual, my only complain is that the loud audio sections that overpower your voice, would be nice if you add some ducking next time.

There is ducking, but I'll make it deeper next time, thanks for the feedbackjtsterays wrote: Mon Jan 20, 2025 6:30 am Thank you, very helpful and straight to the point like usual, my only complain is that the loud audio sections that overpower your voice, would be nice if you add some ducking next time.

Thanks for the update! After owning The Drop for many years I finally picked up The Scream and The Glue.
Keep up the great work, Andy. Or is it The Andy?
Cytomic's definitely got a thing for the definite article!
