The Demo ilok license has one activation.. Does the paid version also only have one or two?

Brave to have those sound examples up on the website. Not even remotely close any of them but still brave.

UI is exactly as I feared it would be. Way overdone in typical XILS fashion. Sigh.. will still demo this.

"Faithful to the original" and the comparisons were way off. Because there are so many CS-80 emulations out there right now, it is those not-even-close demos that are making me stay away from this one. I don't need another synth that can sort of sound like a CS-80. At least that's my initial thought.

What kind of drugs? There's a lot of range in drugs. I might be into it if they're on acid, but if they're huffing paint, I'm not interested.

I always like Nori’s presets and demos.

Where'd the blue sides go on the forum? Not liking the white.

It’s hard to imagine why they'd be proud of the saw/filter/chorus comparisons on their website, they're so far from the hardware it almost stopped me from trying it out, almost.

I got about 10 minutes into demoing before buying. It has that super alive vibe that the PolyKB and V+ have, it’s just more animated and interesting than other emulations I’ve tried. Love the sound.

The preset browser is a disaster. No arrow key navigation is dumb, and why are some words always highlighted in green even when nothing is selected? Makes no sense. Also there are typos and dupes in the preset names and type names, hopefully Xils will clean that up as you can’t overwrite the factory presets to fix them yourself.

Btw, I was able to get it on Thomann for $68, not sure if that's some kind of glitch but it worked.

Without air vents it will overheat!

The vents do actually get replaced with functional UI, but the scaling is wacky. The default scale is 50%, and I had to bump it to 70% on an Apple Studio Display to get the sliders and fonts to a comfortable size, at which point it takes up most of the screen.

And without the table beneath, it could fall down. This might be the only virtual instrument that has this extra stability.

Survey: Does anyone use the graphic keyboard on plugins? Are there people clicking on those keys? I can't imagine.

3 or 4 Split presets on a bi-timbral synth ? That's just weird they didn't release more split presets , when the entire point of the CS80 was it's bi-timbral options.
