Created on an iPad Pro with a few apps that cost less than a Big Mac.

Well done. Relaxing. Lots of different sound sources but they all blend togheter very well and are properly introduced along the way. Interesting, the initial "game" with panning.

Thank you very much! I'm sure I could do a lot better with better equipment. I know from past experience that if I started getting into buying gear it would probably spiral out of control. I enjoy the challenge of keeping it simple and cheap. I like being able to take my complete "studio" anywhere at any time. My wife likes the cheap aspect.dbo wrote: Thu Jan 16, 2025 6:32 pm Well done. Relaxing. I am doing a complete remix of this, more along the lines of an avant garde jazz group. Less synth sounds and more conventional things like piano and horns. Will probably post this weekend. I hope you can listen and compare. Have a great day!

Sure. Can understand what you say about an excessive amount of gear, synths, effects, etc.

I remixed this several different ways and settled on this one. I call it the Dark Ambient Smooth Jazz version.

Nice, enjoyed it!
What is that haunting brass sound library at 1:13 ?
I've not got an iPad... I've got Mac with Logic Pro X which I've not used much, wonder if its in there.

Hi Bansaw! That trumpet-like sound is a loop from and old iOS app called Blocs Wave. I believe it was originally developed for EDM and rap music. I have found other uses for it. I transposed and stretched the WAV file to match the key and tempo of this track. I put several other effect on it to get it to sound more like a horn. The sound quality is not the best, but it's good enough for my needs. With a little patience, you can get these iPads to sound pretty good. I don't use and external hardware such as keyboards, MIDI controllers, or guitars, so I can take my "studio" with me anywhere at any time. I've done that! Thanks for listening and have a great day!Bansaw wrote: Mon Jan 20, 2025 4:08 pm Nice, enjoyed it!
