I played with one a few times at the store too back in the day. At the time I was just getting into synthesis and new f-all about how to program. But I suspect it's more about the feature set and just wanting an analog poly with those features from people who never played one. Plus, they're kind of classics now just due to the feature-set and how expensive they were at the time. It's as good a reason as any to make an emulation. Would certainly be more exciting to me than a Bass Station.

the onboard sequencer and efx make this a lot more interesting than i was expecting it to be

When filter is set to 2 pole , env 2 is still applying a bit of modulation when the modenv (env 2 ) depth is set to zero.
Unless this was also the case on the real deal

Just got a response from Gforce ,this was also the case on the o.g.

Downloaded the DEMO. Ran the DEMO and it said Trial Period Expired. That was quick.

Had a quick demo. I love what that high pass filter does. A little distortion takes it a long way. Damn it, may have to buy it.

The attack on the filter envelope seems slow, even at 0 it makes a womp sound instead of a fast attack. Is that the behaviour on the hardware?

Both. 16 voices was a big enough feature and the sound was bright and brash at a time when every other analog sounded like either a 303 or a Minimoog. I like the fact that every voice has its own output and can be used a separate monosynth.

I'm surprised they are calling it the Bass Station. The feature set looks like it includes all of the features (and then some) of the Super Bass Station, so they should call it the Uber Bass Station.
