Woah, DX1 remake is pretty cool and unexpected. Sounding like a broken record here, but I wish they'd release desktop modules of some of these remakes.

Hmmmm, they might still be a way off, but the full prototypes of the Prophet and Jupiter suggests it may well be this year that they're coming out into the wild. Instabuy the Bupiter and I'll have time to think about the Brophet - I'll probably cave in and get one, no point kidding myself
.
The BX1 - it kinda interests me, but it only took about 3 seconds of thinking about it and I ruled it out. The nostalgia is not strong enough in me. I like the sound but really don't want to get back into programming DXs, they're fkn awful things to actually use. Just looking at that long row of buttons makes me vaguely queasy. I still occasionally fire up my DX100 and though I do like the sound and properly utilise it every now and then, I really really really REALLY hate programming the stupid thing. Bigger DX = bigger headache. It's a close call between which were the worst synths to ever program - 303/202 or the whole DX range. I think Yamaha win that dubious competition. Maybe Korg Wavestation is an outside bet too...

BX1 looks like a beast. Be interesting to see the variety of sounds it can produce with its hybrid FM and 32xVCF architecture. Given Behringher's track record, I think they could put it out for as little as $1500.
Had hoped to hear the JT-16 & Pro-16 were close to release, but it would seem they're still some way off given they're not even demoing working units.

You mean two raspberry pi with a dexed each
To be honest, getting the 32 voices out of a pi and into 32 discrete analog filters does take quite a bit of electronic plumbing.
