Ok, I'll stop being silly.VitaminD wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 6:23 pmBecause all products deserve their own thread to cover development news and discussion, instead of a confusing grab all thread covering multiple products.
There is going to be much more news and discussion on this single synth through this year and next. Keeping it just in the NAMM 25 thread only is silly. Don't be silly!
It has 32 voices of polyphony or 16 for each part in dual mode and 32 analog CS80 Filters 1 for each voicekritikon wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 8:52 pm Dunno about MPE - they were making noises that most of their polys (at least the big 16 voice ones) were going to be the same configuration as UBXa and MPE capable. Is this one 16 voice? It certainly looks big enough to be considered one of their big bastards...
Yes. I also think that what they're trying to do here is to scratch both the buyer's experimental itch and a nostalgic itch at the same time. They are taking two vintage ideas and combining them into something new, that is at the same time, nostalgic, and in this case, mostly unobtanium.machinesworking wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 9:49 pm Another observation, this is a good sign in the sense of them taking chances.
I guess it's the same keybed as the UBxa; the Pro-16 will probably have it as well. I haven't heard anything about release velocity.ghettosynth wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 11:22 pm Poly aftertouch confirmed!
Also, vintage or modern DAC mode.
I'm sure that it is the same keyboard. That's all that I wanted to know. I'm not expecting them to create new keyboards at this point, I'm on board with their "keep it in the budget zone by reusing technology." For the record, I'm not a vintage clone aficionado. I'm way on board with their more creative offerings.DocAtlas wrote: Sat Jan 25, 2025 12:55 amI guess it's the same keybed as the UBxa; the Pro-16 will probably have it as well.
